TimberHP Visitor Safety Expectations for Mill Tours

With this obligation in mind, we appreciate you taking the time to review and accept our safety expectations during your visit with us.
Personal Attire
● Sturdy, close-toed shoes without high heels
● Long pants or ankle-length skirts, neither touching the floor
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Reflective/highly visible vest
May also be issued for specific/designated areas:
Hard Hat
Safety Glasses
Hearing Protection
*PPE will be made available, if required.
Personal Behavior
While on this tour, you will comply with the following:
Refrain from consuming any food or beverages in the manufacturing area
Turn off or silence your cell phone (only permitted for use in a true emergency)
Stay with your group/tour guide at all times
Do not touch any equipment unless directed to do so by your tour guide
Do not cross caution tape of any color without express permission (generally red orange or yellow)
Follow all safety warning signs and verbal instructions
Use handrails when climbing or descending stairs
Watch for tripping hazards, overhead work, and step aside for moving equipment (ex. forklifts)

● Cameras (*except with prior permission)
Please be advised that mill tours involve walking on hard, sometimes uneven surfaces. There are also multiple flights of stairs.
